I had an impromptu chat with one of my professors this morning as I was dropping off his mail. He occasionally reads my running blog and was...
I know, I know, I owe you like a week’s worth of posts. I had to travel to the East coast...
*Mimi is my grandmother who lives next door to me.*
Mimi: Why do you go to that gym everyday?
Me: To stay in shape.

So, my blog has evolved into more of a running/fitness/fun stuff I do in NYC/and elsewhere blog as of late, but it’s...
Today is my moms 81st Birthday. She is such an amazing woman. It’s hard to believe she’s that old. She has an amazing spirit.
She’s has a youthful attitude. So much so that when she has a few aches and pains she has to remind herself of her age.
She’s in great physical shape. In fact she’s on her treadmill everyday, takes tap dance lessons, does yoga and still jogs.
She’s loving, caring and will do anything for everyone. However, she knows when to say no because she realizes it’s better for her to put herself first so she can take care of others better.
She’s a fantastic mother of six (I’m the youngest and her “baby”), grandmother of six and great grandmother of four. She truly is the best mom I could imagine and feel so lucky to be her child.
She’s a loving wife. She and my dad have been married for 58 years. They are a wonderful example of what a good marriage is. The love each other more now than ever and are best friends.
My mom is my inspiration!
